Since making a name for itself as one of the capital’s most vibrant areas in the 1960’s, London’s Soho neighbourhood continues to be a hub for creativity and fashion with gritty charm. Since 2013, we’ve been proud to call Soho’s Berwick street home to one of our three retail locations. Five years later, we’ve outgrown the 40 Berwick street address and are taken our business a few doors down to number 26.

For the new retail space, we decided to work with, not against, the shop’s natural features. Working alongside architecture studio MUTT (who is also working on our upcoming King’s Cross location) and the folks at 19 taking care of the shop fit, we’ve kept some original charm of the wooden flooring and raw concrete walls. The space boasts bespoke timber framework and an original blockwork feature to form the shop’s changing rooms.

Join the Universal Works team on Thursday, September 27th for an evening of drinks to celebrate the new location and browse the new collection. See you there!
