Retail Store Manager.
Permanent Position – Based in Universal Works Kings Cross.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an enthusiastic Store Manager to work in our fabulous Coal Drops Yard store. If you are commercially driven, passionate about our product, and able to motivate and drive a team, this may be the role for you.
Your main duties will include:
• Align the brand strategy and values with the store and team performance.
• Create a welcoming customer focussed environment.
• React to sales analysis to achieve set KPI’s, control costs and promote profitability.
• Informed on brand promotions and social activity to share with team and customers.
• Be a brand ambassador and role model, recruiting the right people for the right roles.
• Induct, train and develop a team, imparting feedback to set your team up for success.
• Execute exemplary visual merchandising standards that entice our customers.
• Organise stock management processes to ensure product is available and worked through to maximise sell through.
• Ensure that HR and H&S policies and processes are implemented and adhered to.
• Monitor and minimise stock loss and control cash management.
• Manage daily, weekly monthly administration including payroll, rota’s, holidays etc
Requirements:
• Excellent knowledge of retail and management skills.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workloads and delegate accordingly.
• Customer service focus.
• Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude, proactive in leading a team and achieving results.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including weekend working.
• Passionate, enthusiastic, driven and self motivated.
• Competent and capable of basic IT systems and MS office.

Photographer Role.
Permanent Position based in Nottingham.
Closing Date: Friday 4th April 2025
We are looking for an experienced product Photographer who is well organised, with strong studio and lighting knowledge to complement our team.
• Preparation, shooting, editing, processing and maintaining consistently high-quality images by Universal Works website and other marketing/sales requirements.
• Responsible for supporting, maintaining and progressing the representation of all eCommerce photography.
• Maintain a clean and tidy studio environment.
• Maintain levels of photographic supplies.
• Organise and maintain a seasonal image library.
• Assisting the Creative Services Manager in any other photography related duties, social media, model and the production of seasonal imagery as and when needed.
• A passion for product Photography is a MUST.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Excellent working knowledge of Capture One, Photoshop.
• Retouching Skills.
• Ability to colour match images.
• Produce clipping paths.
• Strong Studio & Lighting knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Extremely organised and motivated.
• Have the ability to work on multi projects simultaneously.
• The sense of urgency and ability to multitask and prioritise key projects.
• Ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Problem solver- you can quickly identify and solve technical problems.
• Working knowledge of, and confidence in, Excel-type spreadsheets.
• Competitive
• 40 hours per week, Mon to Thurs 9:00 – 5:30, Fri 9:00 – 3:00 with 30 minutes paid lunch each day.
