Hotel Deluxe, Summer 2025. Postcards from Mexico.
For the latest instalment of Summer 2025, we find ourselves back at Hotel Deluxe, under the Mexican sun. Wearing relaxed silhouettes in linen-cotton blends, seersuckers, fine twills and lightweight plain weaves.
Our standout pattern this season takes inspiration from Mitla, the ancient archaeological site outside the city of Oaxaca inhabited by the Zapotec people, and vintage Mexican fabric prints. Geometric shapes are silk-screen printed across cotton, cord and jersey, echoed in an all-over embroidered Work Shirt in ombre thread, and on a Club Jacket made distinct with hand embroidery. These geometrics also inspire the choice of fabrics chosen in open-weave textures for shirts, overshirts and jackets.
Photographs taken by our Founders of Oaxaca’s painted and graffitied walls are screen printed on tees, and elements from these are embroidered across shirting. A palette of yellow, blues, greens and browns brings in the earthy landscape, the glistening pool and the cloudless sky.
