Coal Drops Yard

Coal Drops Yard

For those of you that don't already know, we have a new store coming this autumn in the new Kings Cross development.

Coal Drops Yard will be a new shopping destination with shops, cafes, bars and restaurants in heart of the area.

"Built in the 1850s, the Coal Drops were for receiving and sorting coal as it arrived from the north of England by train. Remarkably, the grand brick viaducts, cobbled streets and rich ironwork have survived, and are today being brought back to life.

Our store is designed by MUTT architecture studio founded by Graham Burn, James Crawford and Alexander Turner. You can read our previous post about them and see more of their model of our store here.
