Zardus.

We have been fans of Yogi shoes for a long time. From when they were a part of Duffer, right up to this year, when they sadly ceased to exist—not due to poor styles or poor sales, but more to the needs of big businesses.

So we mourned the loss of another small brand; a brand we had been collaborating with for a few seasons. But we had an idea: maybe we could talk to the factory in Portugal who made those shoes for Yogi, to see if they could make some directly for us. As it turned out, the factory owner had the same idea and was stoked at the idea of working with us.

While Yogi might cease to exist as a brand, that same spirit lives on in this new collection, and in the makers at Zardus, masters of the laidback moccasin. We have revisited familiar silhouettes, with the comfortable footbeds and breathable, unlined leathers and suedes you would expect, finished with hand-stitched details. And as they say, the rest is history… well, in this case, the rest is the future!
