Universal Family – SS24 Sales Meeting
For Universal Works, it’s strong friendships and supportive networks that enable us to do what we do. Our circle of trust includes suppliers, agents, friends and customers from all across the globe – who, together, feel like they’re actually part of one international and universal family.
It's that time of year when the sample collection has arrived and the UW team is about to hit the international trade show circuit. First on the agenda is always our international agents who sell UW on our behalf across the world. We get together with them twice a year to show them the new collection ahead of selling season, immerse them in the world of UW and most importantly have a fun time together. It was a joy to come together with them again last week for great food and conversation, fun activities and to preview what's to come for UW.
We hosted our extended UW family at Birch at their new outpost in South London (Who we recently partnered with for our “Not a Uniform Project”). We had a jam packed itinerary and highlights included a guided nature walk through the 200 acre Selsdon estate, learning all about the Birch’s re-wilding project on the way. We were also treated to a group pottery workshop where some of us tried our hands at ceramic artistry (with varying degrees of success we might add).
It was a fun few days and great to hang out with old friends as well as welcome some newer ones too.
A big thanks to our incredible international agents for making the journey to London, and of course a special thanks to our friends at Birch for hosting us.
