Here in the UK, the summer weather has been unpredictable to say the least, however with the following mantra; “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing” it can make life a lot easier, that's why this week we decided to take a closer look at our versatile summer jacket, The Fistral Jacket.
David Keyte shares the origins behind the jacket:
"So why did I name a jacket after a beach in Cornwall? Well, Fistral Beach in Newquay is a great place to hang out, it is a beautiful beach and well... it's Cornwall and like all of the UK, after you finished hitting the waves you're likely to be a wee bit chilly!
Let's face it we don’t have Hawaiian weather here, so an extra light layer, a hood, deep pockets to thrust your hands into, and an external pocket to keep your bottle opener in, are all the essentials you need!"
Our Fistral jacket is available in multiple colours, made in a lightweight water-resistant Halley Stevenson wax fabric, designed to resist wind chill, light rain, and acts as a great minimalist shell-jacket, ideal as a light layer from day to evening and a useful all-season staple.
So from spending some time on a Cornish beach to hanging out in central big city, the Fistral Jacket is pretty fly in our book!
