Saucony x Universal Works x Progress Run Club x Embankment Running Club Community Run

Years ago, we would be hanging out huddled around a table in the pub—now, we are running 5Ks together instead. What started as a fun way to catch up with friends at local coffee shops and run clubs has grown into a series of events, the latest of which saw two brands and two running clubs bring people together through collaboration, community, and friendship.

London’s Progress Running Club, running brand Saucony, and Nottingham-based Embankment Run Club all joined us in pounding the pavements on a social 5K run last night, looping around our Nottingham store where pizza and drinks were waiting for us.

To mark the occasion, we have created a limited-edition event t-shirt, printed with the core message of this project: Local Run, Global Community, Universal Friendship. A reflection of what so many of our collaborations are about—building connections, working together, celebrating shared interests and shared experiences.

The t-shirt is available now, online at Universal Works, in-store at our Nottingham shop, and at Progress. With every post-event sale, we will be donating £5 to Shelter UK, supporting their work in helping those most in need.
