master-piece x Universal Works. Kitchen Table Talk.
Ahead of the launch of our second collaboration together, we met up with a few of the master-piece team in Paris, who happened to be in the city at the same time. David, Stephanie and Shintaro (Director of master-piece) discuss the collaboration, giving us insight into how our two brands met, what we love about what each other does, and the friendship between our two teams. They also give us a glimpse into their everyday carry—the items they fill their master-piece x UW bags with, and get to know each other better in the process.
Some people say the eyes are the window to the soul, but we think you learn almost as much by finding out what they lug around every day. Whether that is cameras, notebooks, passports, a few too many receipts, emergency moisturiser or secret bags-within-bags of tricks. We love that something as practical as these bags turned out to be a way we unintentionally curate our own mini exhibitions of who we are.
