A long term classic in the Universal Works stable of trousers, it's the original military work pant. “Fatigue duty” was the term for the work of the solider not fighting, so real workwear, for cleaning and digging, and all manner of hard labour!

Fatigues, as they become known in the USA have been around for 50, 60, 70 years. Our version, while honouring that tradition, fits well into a modern lifestyle too. They are a loose-fitting shape with four patch pockets and a straight leg with two darts rising from the hem to give a gentle taper at the bottom of the leg.

This is a pant that can serve us, civilians, well too. Each season we make them in classic “chino’ twill cotton, as well as denim and a few other carefully chosen fabrics. We make them a little bigger in size at the waist, for extra comfort and style, with waist adjustment to pull in and get the fit just right.
