Last year Mark Campbell-Garrity, a young creative in Nottingham, asked if we could help and provide him with costumes for a short film project that he was directing for BBC New Creatives. The short film titled Birdcage, is about an authoritarian society where young people are kept in cages until marriage. We were pleased to be able to use some past seasons stock and dress many of the male characters within the film.

The short film looks great and we cannot wait to see the final film! Congratulations to Mark and we look forward to seeing where his career in film takes him.

The BBC New Creatives commission Birdcage is due for broadcast on BBC4 and BBC iplayer later this year. A five minute version of the film is available to watch here.
