We must be suckers for punishment! Another collab?
This was the third time we have sat down with Everton of Hip Store and tried to improve on an otherwise perfect garment, just joking, of course! In those discussions with Everton we came up with a new and I hope fresh “fatigue” version of the Bakers Overshirt, a new and exciting version of what has become a Universal Works classic item, and this time for summer we wanted it to sit alongside the Fatigue Shorts.
Giving the overshirt a lightweight jacket feel by taking style details from the previous exclusive Jacket, with a flapped patch pocket and an extra stash rear pocket, to match the shorts. Both of these in new and fresh colours of fine summer cord, to give a really great vibe. A matching bucket hat to keep the sun out your eyes and you have a perfect full set of pastel loveliness.
Everton has been a long-term friend and supporter of Universal Works, and we are always happy and proud to work on these exclusive editions with him, it is not really too much of a punishment, we only really collab’ with people we admire and like to work with. Enjoy those summer vibes.
