Lockdown Listening: Paris Oracle, Italy.

One thing that unites us all and keeps us inspired and motivated, especially in a time of crisis, is the love for music. We asked a few of our stockists and fellow music lovers to share what tracks are keeping them sane during the lockdown.

Paris Oracle is a long-established shop in Rome. Located in one of the greenest parts of the eternal city, It was open in 1956 by Stefano’s family, showcasing only American products.

Sixty years later the store has come a long way, but never really changed its essence. It remains a place that “resists seasonal fashion for a more conscious experience”.
The store is a mirror of Stefano’s inspiration and persona, full of memorabilia, vintage furniture, and of course records!
He takes his influences from the collections of the designers he loves, street culture, and music. It’s a really unique store and we can not wait to be back to visit!

Here is Stefano's playlist, which takes us right back to the time we spent with him in Rome,  playing records in his store!

What  “feel good” track are you enjoying listening to lately?
Having to be in the house for so long I really enjoyed  ‘Every way but Loose’ from Oneness of Juju. It has an incredible intro and a groove that really makes you want to dance!

Any musician or DJ you would love to see perform once the quarantine is over?
I really enjoy going to live shows and I really hope we get to go back to that soon. An artist I would love to see is Michael Kiwanuka, I have never seen him live but he’s meant to be a great performer, I really love his music.

What are your go-to garments to wear during lockdown?

I have to say I have been very good during the quarantine, I didn’t let myself go and dressed properly every day like I was going out to work to the store. My go-to for this season are linen suits or chambray, paired with some great Mountain shoes.
