Last week, a few of us made a trip over to Berlin, Germany. On arrival, we of course made a beeline straight to our partnership store with Trueffelschwein (@trueffelschweinberlin). As always, it was great to catch up with Ralf and the team, and Mikee, our Retail Manager, worked a full day at the store to get an idea of how things are done in Deutschland. Whilst in the neighbourhood, we also popped in to see Kerr Sutherland of Co-Barbers Studio for a quick trim before our evening plans. We featured Kerr in our Good People Good Places project a couple of years ago (see here), so it was great to reconnect with him.
We also had the pleasure of meeting up with our friends and stockists at the vinyl, apparel, and sneaker destination, HHV. They gave us a quick tour of their HQ before the launch event for our recent collaboration (check out the pieces here), which they hosted at their Friedrichshain store. It was a special evening, spent with good people, good food, and good music – big thanks to musician, producer, and friend Samon Kawamura (@samonkawamura) for providing the tunes (listen to the playlist here).
