10engines is the brainchild of James Fox, a menswear-loving writer who’s spent half his life jumping between Scotland and Southern Vermont in the USA, giving him a unique perspective on all things from both sides of the Atlantic. James is now based in Boston Massachusetts, where he splits his time between writing on 10Engines and working with the digital libraries and metadata of some of our favourite brands.

James and UW Designer David K have been friends for some time now. They’ve been long time advocates of Universal Works in America and our Lambs Conduit Street store was the first UK stockist of an early 10engines baseball hat back in 2012, so when they offered us their newest cap we could not resist.

For all the  camo huntin' heads out there the Bark N’ Blaze Caps are made from Trebark®, a 70’s camo made by Jim Crumley that was the first hunting-specific camouflage introduced to the USA. The batch of caps are actually a chance find of deadstock caps by K-Products, made in USA way back in the eighties. After nearly thirty years of being laid dormant in a box, these beauties have been brought back to life with the classic 10engines rope logo in an eye catching orange print.

It’s quickly become a staple of David’s hat rotation and as you can see from the pictures of Sam below, it's goes great with Universal Works clothing and also comes in handy for when you need to blend in to the urban wilderness...

We've got limited numbers available online and in our stores. Don’t sleep.
