Re-Worked by White Weft

When one of our garments becomes a go-to piece in the wardrobe, we know we’ve done something right. That being said, continuous wear, regardless of quality, is bound to lead to the occasional tear. Our Re-Works Visible Repairs service turns these blemishes into badges of honour. It is one way we’ll prolong the life cycle of our garments, keeping them out of landfill and ensuring you get to wear those trusty favourites for longer. One of our partners is Janelle from design studio White Weft. Her business makes products from textile waste as a means to challenge the disposability of the fashion industry, and she also facilitates our Visible Repairs service on behalf of our London stores.

During a recent trip down to London, we dropped in on Janelle for a tour of her studio and to catch up on her latest project with us. We got to preview the 20 unique pieces she’s been working on, pieces that had slight imperfections that have since been visibly patched with surplus UW fabric.
