UW Neighbourhood Party. Nottingham.

Earlier this year we proudly opened the doors to our new Universal Works Nottingham store on Derby Road and now that Spring is officially upon us and some warmer weather with it, we decided to celebrate with a good old-fashioned party. 

The Universal Works and Friends Neighbourhood party was a great opportunity for our Nottingham community to come together and celebrate the opening of our new store alongside some of our brilliant Derby Road neighbours; Little Brickhouse and Little Plant Guys. 

It was a jam packed evening that saw Universal Works serving delicious beers from Black Iris Brewery and DJ Seen spinning the decks for those good vibes. Little Plant Guys threw open the doors for an evening of music, plants and wine whilst Little Brickhouse helped line our stomachs with some seriously tasty German street food complete with bread from Derby Road’s resident bakers Tough Mary’s Bakehouse. For the last one’s standing, we danced the night away at Little Brickhouse at a cheeky afterparty (on a school night ;) hosted by local record store owners and DJs Running Circle Records.

Big thanks to everyone who joined to celebrate our Nottingham Derby Road neighbourhood, we were chuffed to spend time with our friends, customers and team whilst welcoming some new faces along too.
