This Saturday we are launching a special sneaker with American running veterans Saucony Originals, with our Shadow OG “Work” Pack.
The project has been a while in the works, with our first chance meeting happening nearly two years ago when our designer David Keyte mentioned to the Saucony team that he was running a lot of miles in their trainers, and admired their commitment to running shoes as one of the oldest real running shoe companies. After a few more chats and sit-downs we thought the collaboration between the two brands could bring about an interesting sneaker.
Our contemporary clothing draws inspiration from a mix of functional blue collar workwear, tailoring associated with white collar work and the detailing and shapes of classic sportswear. We appreciate small-scale production, quality materials and wearable product, so we have worked closely with Saucony to make a luxury and wearable version of their Shadow Original.
We re-worked navy and sand versions, finished with a simple white midsole, eye-catching argon blue heel-cup and tonal embroidered branding.
To celebrate the release, we also teamed up with our old friend Allan Buxton to create a stop motion animation that sums up the ideas and values that have gone into the project.
