We’re proud to present “Not Another Catwalk” a stop-motion animation made with Allan Buxton to showcase our SS16 collection.
Allan is a Nottingham based creative who works in film, animation, web and graphic design and he also happens to be a good friend of the guys at UWHQ. He’s got a tonne of experience as an animator and cross-discipline designer and he’s steadily building a reputation for creating out of the box work that toe the line between low-fi methods and refined aesthetics.
We first worked with Allan in 2014 to make a couple of films to release our Universal Works Workshop Denim line. Two words to describe making those videos would be “fun” and “mayhem” but we were excited to team up again to make this crazy, animated, Universal Works runway fashion show with crazy contraptions and fishing line special effects.
