Agents Collection Preview.

While most people are planning this summer, we are already thinking about the next. The collection has been designed, lookbook shot and samples of each piece hung up in our London showroom. The first people to get a look at what is to come are our international sales agents, who we invite to the showroom twice a year for a collection preview.

Before the agents head out into the world, taking Spring Summer 26’ to trade shows and stockists from the US to the Netherlands, these meetings are a chance to get together and get excited for what is to come. Our Co-Founders David and Stephanie walk through each piece—sharing inspirations, pointing out key details, highlighting new fabrics and fits, and welcoming back a few old favourites. It is a day fueled by great coffee, great food, positive conversations and an excited buzz that, after over fifteen years of doing what we do, we still feel every time.

It is not just about the clothes though, it is just as important to catch up with each other in person and invest in the relationships Universal Works is built on. It means a lot to us to be able to bring everyone together, so we like to end the day with a great meal, not to talk shop (although the topic of our favourite pieces always comes up), but to catch up with a great group of people we have been working with for many years—some since the very beginning.

This season’s pick was Moro, a Moorish restaurant not far from our showroom that our Co-Founders have been regulars at for over twenty five years. We sat around a candlelit table piled with wood-roasted, grilled and steamed specials, and at the end of the night, managed to successfully negotiate the tube—all looking forward to the next six months, and the next time we all get together.
