Meeting the Makers. Porto.

A couple of weeks ago, we spent a few days in Porto, visiting the people who make our clothes and seeing the processes that bring Universal Works to life.

DERBY STRIPE.

Classic colours, classic stripes—this is a classic seersucker in every way. In 100% cotton, with a summery grey pinstripe.

An Italian spun, marled yarn made of 100% cotton, making use of recycled fibres for an eco-summer knit with a soft hand feel.

SLUB SATEEN.

Woven to produce two different textures on the front and back, with an irregular, raised slub on one side and the reverse a smooth sateen. Deceptively light, this is garment-dyed for a lived-in look.

A made-in-Japan, lightweight high-quality waffle weave. Garment-dyed for a softer, 'could be yours already' finish.
