The Details

We've been big fans of the Tokyo-based brand 'Taion' for a few years now and with good reason too. Translating 'body temperature' from Japanese to English, Taion does a great job in keeping you warm as the temperature lowers. Specialising in down-filled mid-layers with a military-inspired finish, Taion is a welcome addition to the Universal Works roster.

 

The Military Pullover shirt is a classic Taion design. It has a regular-fitting, straight-cut crew-neck finish; it also has two zip-adjustable slits on the side to aid movement. Produced in a 5mm square ripstop fabric with 800 fill power down/feather insulation the fabric has been onion-stitched and quilted for warmth and finished in cotton piping. It also features two front patch pockets.
