The Baker’s Jacket is a multipurpose jacket with workwear origins and was named for UW founder David Keyte’s Dad, who was a baker and wore a simple chore jacket whilst working in his bakery.
This light, puckered cotton seersucker has been dyed in a super unique way, with bright splotches bleeding into each other to create a pattern reminiscent of a NASA photograph of a far galaxy. Seersucker’s heat dispersion properties, a bit of added stretch and a dry hand feel added to the dye-washed pattern all make for a brilliant and unique summer fabric. Made in Biella, northern Italy by renowned weavers Subalpino.
