Fun, punchy and a little bit retro, (like its namesake motor), this seasonal standout offers a brisk fuel injection to the most sedate menswear fabric: tweed. Made in Italy – unlike the classic Ford saloon – using a rich blend of recycled yarns, it’s a soft, tactile cloth that looks better and better the closer you get (and the more you wear it). Sidestepping the usual mossy earth tones in favour of bolder, more modern colours, the Cortina Tweed is so good we’ve used it for no fewer than four jackets for AW23, from our flowing Long Swing Coat to the utilitarian Windcheater II.
