2019 Fashion Communication and Promotion | Live Project Brief.

Over the course of the year, we were able to get a full insight into the conceptual development of the students work. This concluded with the groups presenting their final campaign ideas and creative outcomes to UW, founder, David Keyte and our content team.

We thought Alice, Morgan and Daisy's Moon Landing concept was fantastic, and really stood out to us. They approached their campaign with creativity and humour, which sits well with us, as we don't like to take ourselves too seriously!

NTU student, Morgan, said 'Our concept stemmed from Northern Soul, an era that  David particularly enjoyed and grew up in. During this time was the first-ever moon landing and it just so happened that this year is the 50th anniversary. We thought paring the two together would be light-hearted and visually pleasing.'

Morgan goes on to say, 'We enjoyed the freedom to explore the creative outcome. It enabled us to experiment with different types of media. It’s always fun working on a brand you love and know personally. Universal Works brand values are well respected and are something that we really wanted to highlight throughout the marketing campaign'

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, Universal Works has made a very limited run of t-shirts. They are 100% cotton, featuring neon green artwork from Alice Tucker, Morgan Lankester and Daisy Fern.

You can now purchase the t-shirts from our London (Coal Drops Yard) store, Nottingham (Broad street) store and online.
